How do I see my website traffic in the portal?

Open Analytics, then Traffic. You see sessions, users, engaged sessions and conversions from Google Analytics, where visitors came from, your most read pages, and what your server saw.

The Traffic page answers "how many people came to my website, and where from?". The main numbers come from Google Analytics. Below them, two more views count the same dates from your web server and from your own site, which catch visits Google Analytics can miss.

What you need

  • Google Analytics connected to your account. Our team connects it for you.
  • About 5 minutes.

Steps

  1. In the portal menu, open Analytics, then Traffic.
  2. Pick the dates at the top of the page: This week, This month, This quarter, Last 30 days (the default), Last 90 days or Custom. Tick Compare to previous 30 days (the number follows your dates) to see the change against the days before.
  3. Read the tiles: Sessions (visits), Users (visitors), Engaged sessions (visits longer than 10 seconds, with two or more pages viewed, or with a conversion) and Conversions (actions you asked Google Analytics to count, such as a form sent or a phone number tapped). Under them are Engagement rate and New users, then charts of sessions, users and conversions over time.
  4. Read Where visitors came from to see visits split by channel, such as search, social or direct.
  5. Read Most read pages for your top pages by sessions. Click a page with a link icon to open it on your site.
  6. Scroll to Seen by the server for every request your site answered, including AI crawler visits and Search engine crawls.
  7. Read Recorded by your own site for visits your site counted itself.

Common problems

  • If you see "Google Analytics is not connected yet.", open a support ticket and pick SEO and analytics. Our team will connect it.
  • If you see "Analytics is not enabled for your account", select Contact support and ask us to turn it on.
  • If the last day or two look low, Google finishes counting a day up to two days late. Check again later.
  • One visit can count in more than one channel, so the channel bars can add up to more than the total.
  • If the numbers here differ from your own site's count, that is normal. Each tool counts in its own way.
