A Facebook profile is a personal account for one real person, which they use to connect with friends and manage Pages.
A Facebook profile represents one person. It has friends instead of followers and is meant for personal use. Facebook's rules say profiles are for individuals, so a business should not run its main presence as a profile. Instead, a person with a profile creates and manages a business Page. That person's profile stays private from Page visitors.
