What is a Google review?
A Google review is a star rating and optional comment a customer leaves on your Google Business Profile.
A Google review is a public rating from one to five stars, often with written comments and photos. Reviews appear on your Google Business Profile in Search and Maps, along with your average rating. Anyone with a Google account can leave one. Google's policies ban fake reviews and paying or offering rewards for reviews. You can reply to each review as the business.
Why it matters for your business: Ratings and recent reviews strongly shape whether people call you or a competitor, and they also play a part in local search rankings.
