A webinar is a live or recorded online presentation that people sign up to watch, often with time for questions.
A webinar is a seminar held over the web. A host presents slides, a demo or a talk through a video meeting tool, and attendees watch from their own devices. Most webinars ask people to register first, which collects their contact details. Many also offer a recording afterward for people who could not attend live.
