What is key event value?
Key event value is a money amount you assign to a key event, like a lead, so reports can estimate the value your website creates.
GA4 can attach a value to a key event. For a purchase, the value is the sale amount. For actions with no price, like a quote request, you can set an estimated value, perhaps based on how often leads become customers and your average job size. Universal Analytics called this goal value. Values roll up into reports so you can compare channels by value, not only by count.
Why it matters for your business: Giving leads a value helps compare marketing in dollars and shows the real worth of a form fill or a call.
