What is a PDF?
A PDF is a file format that keeps a document's layout the same on every device, often used for menus, forms and brochures.
A PDF (Portable Document Format) is a file type that looks the same no matter which device or program opens it. Fonts, images and layout stay fixed, which makes PDFs good for printing, signing and sharing documents like menus, price lists, brochures and forms. Browsers can open PDFs directly. PDFs can be hard to read on small phone screens, and text inside a scanned PDF image cannot be read by screen readers or search engines.
Why it matters for your business: Important information, such as your menu or services, works better as a regular web page, with a PDF offered as a download.
