What is a website header?
A website header is the strip at the top of every page that usually holds your logo, main menu and a key button or phone number.
The header is the band across the top of each page. It typically shows your logo, which links back to the home page, the main navigation menu and often a call to action, like a phone number or booking button. Some headers stay in place as you scroll, called a sticky header. Because it repeats on every page, the header is the most consistent way for visitors to get around.
Why it matters for your business: A clear header helps visitors find any page and contact you from wherever they land on your site.
