What is the realtime report?
The realtime report in GA4 shows activity on your site in the last 30 minutes: active users, pages viewed, sources and events.
The realtime report shows what is happening on your website right now, covering roughly the last 30 minutes. You can see how many users are active, which pages they are on, where they came from and which events fire. It is often used to check that tracking works after a change, or to watch the effect of an email or post as it goes out.
Why it matters for your business: Realtime is the quickest way to confirm that a new form or key event is being recorded, without waiting a day for standard reports.
