What is Yelp?
Yelp is a website and app where people find local businesses and read and write reviews about them.
Yelp lists local businesses with their details, photos and customer reviews. Business owners can claim their free Yelp page to update information, add photos and reply to reviews. Yelp uses automated software to decide which reviews to recommend, and its rules ban asking customers for reviews. Yelp data also appears in some other apps and services.
Why it matters for your business: In many industries, like restaurants and home services, Yelp reviews still influence choices, and your listing details should match everywhere else.
