What are Core Web Vitals?

Core Web Vitals are three Google measurements of a page's real-world user experience: loading speed, how fast it responds and how stable the layout is.

Core Web Vitals are a set of metrics Google uses to describe page experience. Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how fast the main content loads. Interaction to Next Paint (INP) measures how quickly the page reacts when someone taps or clicks. Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) measures whether things jump around while loading. Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights report them using data from real Chrome visitors.

Why it matters for your business: Good scores mean visitors are less likely to leave in frustration. Page experience is one of many ranking signals, so content still matters most.
