What are header tags?
Header tags (H1, H2, H3 and so on) mark the headings on a web page, from the main title down to smaller section headings.
Header tags are the code labels for headings. The H1 is usually the page's main headline, H2s mark the main sections, and H3s break those sections down further, like an outline. They help visitors skim, help screen readers move through the page, and help search engines understand how the content is organized. Headings should describe what follows, in plain words.
Why it matters for your business: Clear headings keep visitors reading and make it easier for search engines to match sections of your page to specific questions.
