What are warm and cool colors?
Warm colors are reds, oranges and yellows that feel energetic; cool colors are blues, greens and purples that feel calm.
Colors are often grouped by temperature. Warm colors, such as red, orange and yellow, tend to feel lively, friendly or urgent, and they seem to come forward on a page. Cool colors, such as blue, green and purple, tend to feel calm, steady or professional, and they seem to sit back.
