What is a call to action (CTA)?
A call to action is a short instruction, often a button, that tells people the next step to take, like Call now or Book a visit.
A call to action, or CTA, is the words or button that ask a visitor to do something. Examples are "Get a free quote," "Book online" and "Call now." A strong CTA is short, uses an action verb and stands out on the page. It should match what the visitor wants at that moment and appear where they are ready to act.
Why it matters for your business: Pages without a clear CTA leave visitors unsure what to do next, and many of them leave without contacting you.
