What is a one-page website?

A one-page website puts all its content on a single long, scrolling page, with menu links that jump to each section.

A one-page, or single-scroll, website stacks every section, such as services, about, reviews and contact, on one page. Menu links scroll the visitor down to the matching section. This style suits small businesses with a short, focused message, event pages and portfolios. As a business adds more services or locations, separate pages usually work better for search, because each page can focus on one topic.

Why it matters for your business: A one-page site can be a quick, focused start, but plan for separate pages as you add services that people search for.
