What is a CMS?
A CMS, or content management system, is software that lets you edit your website's words and images without writing code.
A CMS (content management system) is a tool for creating and changing website content through an editor instead of code. You log in, change text, swap images, add pages or publish blog posts, and the CMS builds the finished pages. It keeps content separate from design, so the look stays consistent while the words change. Many CMSs also manage user roles, drafts and page settings like titles and descriptions.
Why it matters for your business: A CMS lets your team keep the site current without waiting on a developer for every small change.
