What is a dynamic website?
A dynamic website builds pages as they are requested, often from a database, so content can change by visitor, time or input.
A dynamic website creates pages on the fly. When someone visits, the server runs code, pulls content from a database and builds the page right then. That allows features like user accounts, shopping carts, search results, booking calendars and content that changes based on who is visiting. Most CMS-based sites are dynamic. Dynamic sites need more server work, so caching is often used to keep them fast.
Why it matters for your business: If your site needs logins, a store or live data, it needs dynamic parts, which also need regular updates and monitoring.
