What is a drip campaign?

A drip campaign is a series of automated emails sent on a schedule, such as one every few days after someone signs up.

A drip campaign sends a planned set of emails over time, like water dripping slowly. For example, a new lead might get a welcome email on day one, a helpful tip on day three, customer stories on day seven and an offer on day ten. Each message moves the person a step closer to buying. People usually leave the series when they buy or unsubscribe.

Why it matters for your business: Drip campaigns keep you in touch with leads who are not ready yet, which turns more of them into customers.
