What is a marketing funnel?
A marketing funnel describes the steps people go through from first hearing about you to becoming a customer.
A marketing funnel is a simple model of the buyer's path. At the top, many people become aware of you. In the middle, fewer people compare options, visit your site or ask questions. At the bottom, a smaller group buys. Each stage needs different marketing: awareness ads at the top, helpful content in the middle and clear offers and fast follow-up at the bottom.
Why it matters for your business: Thinking in funnel stages shows where you lose people, so you can fix the weakest step instead of only buying more ads.
