What is a prototype?
A prototype is a clickable model of a website or app that lets people try the flow before it is fully built.
A prototype is an early working version that you can click or tap through. It might link simple wireframes together or look almost exactly like the finished product. Prototypes are used to test whether people can complete tasks, like booking an appointment, before developers write the real code. Problems found in a prototype are much cheaper to fix than problems found after launch.
Why it matters for your business: Trying a prototype yourself, or watching a customer use it, can reveal confusing steps before they cost you real bookings.
