What is a wireframe?
A wireframe is a simple black-and-white sketch of a page's layout, showing where things go before colors and images are added.
A wireframe is the blueprint of a web page. It uses plain boxes, lines and placeholder text to show the structure: where the headline, images, buttons and sections will sit. Wireframes skip colors, fonts and photos on purpose, so everyone can focus on content and flow first. Changing a wireframe takes minutes, while changing a finished design takes far longer.
Why it matters for your business: Reviewing a wireframe carefully helps catch missing content or confusing layouts early, when changes are cheap.
