What is a search query?
A search query is the exact words someone types or speaks into a search engine. One keyword can match many different queries.
A search query is what a person actually enters into a search engine, such as "who fixes iphone screens near me open now." A keyword is the general topic you target, while queries are the many real ways people phrase it. Google Search Console shows the queries that led to your site appearing in results, along with how often people clicked.
Why it matters for your business: Looking at real queries shows you the words customers use and the questions they have. That is a direct guide for what to write on your pages.
