What is keyboard navigation?
Keyboard navigation means a website can be fully used with only a keyboard, moving between links and buttons with the Tab key.
Some people cannot use a mouse or touch screen, so they rely on a keyboard or devices that act like one. On a keyboard-friendly site, pressing Tab moves through each link, button and form field in a logical order, with a visible outline showing where you are. Enter or Space activates the item. Menus, pop-ups and booking widgets that only respond to a mouse block these visitors.
Why it matters for your business: Try reaching your contact form or booking button using only the Tab key. If you cannot, some customers cannot either.
