What is lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin placeholder text used in designs before the real words are written.
Lorem ipsum is filler text that starts with the words "lorem ipsum dolor sit amet." It comes from a scrambled passage of an old Latin text, and designers have used it for a long time to show where words will go without distracting anyone with meaning. You may see it in early mockups and website drafts. Real content often changes a layout, so it is best to swap in real words as early as possible.
Why it matters for your business: If you see lorem ipsum on a draft, it marks text you still need to supply. Make sure none of it reaches your live site.
