What is SPF?

SPF is a DNS record that lists which mail servers may send email for your domain, so receivers can spot forged mail.

SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework. It is a TXT record in your domain's DNS that names the services allowed to send email as your domain, such as your mailbox provider and your newsletter tool. When a message arrives, the receiving server checks it against that list. Mail from an unlisted server is more likely to land in spam or be rejected.

Why it matters for your business: Without a correct SPF record, your real emails, like quotes and invoices, can go to spam, and it is simpler for scammers to fake your address.

A domain can have only one SPF record. Edit the one you have; never add a second.
