What is sender reputation?
Sender reputation is how trustworthy inbox providers think your domain and sending servers are, based on your email history.
Inbox providers like Gmail and Outlook keep a score for each sender. It is shaped by things like spam complaints, bounce rates, whether your mail is authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and how people engage with your messages. A good reputation helps your mail reach the inbox. A poor one sends it to spam or gets it blocked.
Why it matters for your business: Your reputation affects every email from your domain, including invoices and replies to customers, not only newsletters.
