What is E-E-A-T?
E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness: qualities Google looks for when judging whether content is reliable.
E-E-A-T is a set of quality ideas from Google's guidelines for its raters. Experience means first-hand knowledge, like having used the product or done the job. Expertise is skill or knowledge in the topic. Authoritativeness is being a known source others turn to. Trustworthiness is the most important part: accurate, honest and safe content. E-E-A-T is not a single score, but Google's systems look for signals that line up with it.
Why it matters for your business: Showing who you are, your credentials, real photos of your work, reviews and clear contact details helps both search engines and customers trust you.
