What is pay-per-click (PPC) advertising?
Pay-per-click advertising is a model where you pay each time someone clicks your ad, not when it is shown.
Pay-per-click, or PPC, is a way of buying ads where you pay only when someone clicks. Search ads on Google and Bing are the best-known examples, and many social ads can work this way too. Advertisers bid in an auction for the chance to show their ad. You set a budget so your spending stops at a limit you choose.
Why it matters for your business: PPC lets you start small, pay for real visits and turn ads on or off as your schedule fills up.
